“Fashion makeup” - as opposed to
beauty and bridal makeup (pretty,
natural, innocent) - usually refers to the more extreme makeup designs (darker, brighter, more creative/
imaginative), which is applied to make it more noticeable under ramp and flash camera lighting.
Fashion makeup can also refer to makeup styles that can be made to look over the top on purpose which works well with haute couture (high fashion) garment designs – designs that you would not necessarily see worn on the street.
