My name is Dee. I
travel to your venue on the day of your event and I also work from my home
studio in Botha’s Hill, near Hillcrest in Durban.
I studied advanced
make-up artistry at Brushstrokes in Cape Town.
I am a professional
make-up artist with diploma with all distinctions in advanced make-up
artistry, colour theory and application, make-up and styling integration,
make-up for fashion, TV, film, period, stage make-up and basic special effects,
corrective make-up, dark skins, bridal and male make-up grooming (grooms and
male models).
I specialise in: Bridal make-up,
make-up for any other occasion, fashion show and fashion photo shoot make-up.
Hair styling: I do specific
bridal hair styles for the bride, hair styling for any other event and hair styling
for photo shoots, although make-up application is my speciality.
I offer individual
one on one make-up lessons in my home studio.
I studied
Fashion Design at Witwatersrand Technikon. My design was in the Sunday
Times and in the Femme magasine in which I was described as the top 10 upcoming
fashion designer in Jhb at the time. I did not complete the course.
